Have been by the lake, and will soonish head to Vadstena to pick up the corridor mate of Lovisa - Kicki. Will try to be tourist guide for Andreas there too... see if we'll run into any nuns.

Was woken up seriously early today by the dream I had. It was about the departure day, and I hadn't packed, couldn't find my tickets and was about to miss my plane... Sensing some stress? Have had strange dreams all week.
Anyway, am now gonna watch the news and google this Honduras issue thing. And possibly search for my tickets...

Tried my sister's epilator thing today. One word: pain. Feels like, to quote Carro, like your hair is being pulled up by the root. Logical, since that is exacly what happens.
Have been to the lake twice today. Really nice second time, almost warm again :). Earlier was not so nice though, since Andreas decided to throw me in. Can't help that I take long to get in the water. It's all about mental preparation.

Sister Lovisa will come home today, for some days =) Will probably be the last time I see her then, before I leave. Don't like the 'last-time-feeling' about everything at the moment... Not nice at all.
Anyway, hope we'll go swimming when she gets here, it's really warm today. Just wished that the water could be the same... At least it's refreshing.

Preparty at Sabina's place, which was fun (especially since my team won the kubb. Not thanks to me though.) And then this time I actually did go to Harrys. Which was as usual :)

Exciting events of Friday - lost and lonely dog walking around the grave yard, all alone ...(think Donkey singing..). So we got it home to my place, created a collar - leach thing for it, and were gonna take it to the police. But after a while it seemed to remember its way home, so we just had to follow it home to the owners. Who btw hadn't even noticed it was gone. What would the world do without me? :P

Another amazingly sunny day it seems, maybe a bit windy, but still. Swedish summer - livet på en pinne!
Am trying to make the Spanish Placement Test page work, for the university in Monterrey. Not having a lot of success though. Have to try to fix it somehow today though, so I can choose my courses for the fall after that. Am not sure that I actually have to make the Spanish test, since I wanted to start with English courses. But I think it's probably best not to mess up the system...
Got a "welcome-to-Motala-letter" yesterday, guess someone thinks I just moved here. So I now have a very exciting "welcome-package" to collect at the Tourist Office. Ooo exciting. What could it be? Key-ring? :)

Wiiii.. have now oficially bathed in Vättern for the first time this year. And I didn't die from freezing. Well, bot that it was super warm, but it was enough =). Sommarkänsla!

And I'm back from a week spent in Skåneland with systeryster =) Awesome week, but I'm also really happy to be back again!
Depressing fact: it's past Midsummer and I still haven't been to Varamon, not even just to realize the water is too cold. Have to do something about that.
Will have fika with Emma today. Scarily enough the last time I see her!! It's not even a month til I go now. Will have a panic attack now.

Day spent in Söderköping with Emma and Astrid - ice cream time! So at the moment I'm suffering from severe sugarrush. Not nice at all. Also get the feeling that I really should go out jogging or something, to sort of compensate. It's amazing how often I get that feeling really. Unfortunately there's no ice cream picture. It vanished too fast for the camera to catch it. There is however a picture of me, Emma and Astrid - touristing in Söderköping =)

Good day anyway, just got the results from the grammar exam - VG =)=)=)=)=) I'm awesome.
Just sent the application for international driver's licence, just hope I'll still remember how to actually drive once I have to use it.
Will spend the day in Mjölby, since my cousin Hanna graduates there today. Too bad it's raining, but I still envy her. It was so much fun!

Inactiveness
Had a not so quite active day as I was supposed to. All the boxes are still in the basement, and my stuff is at the moment everywhere inthe house. But there's time tomorrow..
What I did manage to do today was taking a walk by the Göta Kanal, freakingly early thanks to my sister who needed a ride to the trainstation at seven. And I baked. Although I didn't really like the result. But it looks nice.

Major happening yesterday would be the European elections, as I - guardian angel of the principles of democracy - devoted my time to recieve and count the (few) valuable votes. And well, with a salary of about 300/hour, I´d say it was time well spent. Still - to quote that American movie-making guy: Shame on you [for not voting]!!
On the schedule for today: shopping in Motala. Yey :P
Home sweet home...
Home in Motala again. Feels a bit better today, but I was really sad to leave Uppsala yesterday - it´s been my home (and my extra corridor family!) for two years.. My room looked so depressingly empty when everything was moved out of there. Like I had never even been there.
Motala is of course the center-of-the-world-metropole as always. Full of life. Sunny though, occasionally. Me and Andreas will be going to Sabina tonight - long time since I´ve been home and haven´t seen people in ages. Will be fun :)

They called from the Mexican embassy today, to confirm that I'll actually show up to get my Visa on Thursday. He asked me, on slightly broken English (Yes, I know. But I meant it to be Swenglish. Så det så.), when I was planning on arriving. I replied I´d be there just before nine. Slightly chocked man on the other end of the phone: "Ohh, that's very very early... but ok.."
Of course, when be there on time when I could just..not. This will probably make me go insane by the end of my first week. Qualified guees.

First entry - and first thing to tick of on my to-do-list! What's left would be to pack my Uppsala room together in boxes, get my Mexican visa and get on the plane... But! An amazing Swedish summer is still ahead, until I leave to live in Mexico for one frightening exciting year.
